About mediation

Mediation is a process where we bring two or more participants together to see if we can help them work out a resolution to a dispute. Often, a court will ask the participants to try meditation before bringing their case to court.

What is the process?

If you wish to initiate a mediation or get more information, we will first have a courtesy phone or Zoom call to determine if our services are right for you. Then we will have the same conversation with the other participant. If all are agreed, we will set up a 2-4 hour Zoom session to conduct the mediation session.  There, we will coordinate a discussion aimed at finding a mutually-agreeable resolution to the situation you are in.

What are your fees?

We charge FIXED fees for our mediation services, including the initial calls, the mediation session, and writing up the agreement and getting it signed.  We do not charge by the hour like other services. Our maximum fee is US$300 per party for a standard mediation session. However, we  usually offer a rate far less than that, especially in cases of hardship.
